Carpet Backing Cloth

In the production of Tufted Carpets, a secondary backing fabric is required to stabilise, and secure, the tufted carpet. 3 metre to 5 metre hessians are provided for this purpose.

 
Process
The carpet pile yarn / primary backing is bonded to the secondary backing by adhesive, keeping the carpet intact.
Quality
Depending on the quality required, the grams/metre2 weight can be adjusted to suit - the better the quality, the heavier the jute backing cloth.
Available
Rolls of CBC range from 500 - 800 metres approx.
